Welcome to the Boston CHAPTER
Meet your chapter president
Rochelle Christopher is passionate merges education, empowerment, arts and literacy arts and literacy to drive freedom, access, and equity for marginalized communities. Her entrepreneurial mindset pushes for innovative and forward-thinking solutions to systemic issues affecting BIPOC. Despite experiencing ups, downs, triangles, and circles in her journey towards her purpose, Rochelle learned that it's not about the destination but rather the journey. She values experiencing and learning in the moment, positive thinking, self-affirmation, empowerment, and constant growth.
Rochelle has accomplished a lot quickly, from publishing authors to launching successful businesses. For the past twelve years, she has worked in Boston's healthcare and non-profit communities with people who share her passion for making a difference. Rochelle's passion for literacy and the arts inspired her to establish For Black Girls Inc. and The Black Literacy & Arts Collaborative Project non-profits. The latter provides support, education, and opportunities for the elevation of BIPOC toward creating equitable opportunities between them and their white peers. Her unwavering dedication to her purpose shows that this is just the beginning of her mission to empower people and share her influence.
